About Dr. Swati Shah
Dr. Swati Shah is Board Certified in Rheumatology and founder of Rheumatology clinic, Swati Shah, MD Rheumatology in Jacksonville, FL.
Dr. Shah has been taking care of rheumatologic/autoimmune diseases since 2004.
Dr. Shah completed Internal Medicine residency from University of Texas, medical Branch at Galveston (UTMB).
Seeking further specialization, She undertook a fellowship in Rheumatology at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), drawn by its array of world-renowned professors and experts, making it an unparalleled learning environment. There she also took active part in rheumatology research. She won Paul Kaplan, research award at UPMC. She also received training in Musculoskeletal Sonography (RhMSUS). She has continued to practice Ultrasound guided techniques throughout in her career.
- Dr. Shah returned to Florida in 2013 after obtaining exceptional training at UPMC.
- Dr. Shah has trained and taught many premed and medical student at Baptist Medical center from shadow program.
- She continues to do play active role in teaching next generations of doctors.
- Dr. Shah has played active role in reseach for over about 2 decades. Currently she is involved in various clinical trial for many rheumatologic diseases.
- She was in review committee at University of Florida.
- She is a chapter leader for Association of Women in Rheumatology (AWIR).
- She is a fellow of America College of Rheumatology and a member in good standing with the America Medical Association.

She is married to Dr. Hardik Shah, who is a physician at Baptist Medical center Jacksonville. They have two Beautiful Daughters. As a family they love to hike and enjoy sunrise. Her family and well-being of her daughters is paramount to her.
